About
Welcome to the Projects Abroad blog! If you happened to stumble upon this site by accident and were looking for our regular website, this link will take you there:
www.projects-abroad.net.
The ultimate goal of this blog is to give our volunteers and prospective volunteers the chance to look inside Projects Abroad and to interact with us. We have assembled two staff bloggers to help coordinate and produce regular posts for you. We hope to give you a closer look at some of the placements and countries where we work, as well as the amazing staff members that make this organization tick. Plus some funny stories from some of our zanier moments on the road. But we need your participation! You are the “other half” of this blog, and our bloggers can’t wait to communicate with you, so get busy posting! We encourage you to respond to our bloggers and to the post of other individuals.
This is the point where we get into the “fine print” and guidelines for posting. The Projects Abroad blog is starting out as a moderated site because we want to ensure that everyone stays on topic. We really want you to go comment crazy and post your thoughts, suggestions, comments and questions, but when you post make sure that they are of general interest to most readers. Of course, profanity, racial slurs, and rude language like disparaging personal remarks won’t be tolerated nor published.
One final disclaimer – the Projects Abroad blog is not the forum to address any customer service issues. Even though this is not the forum, Projects Abroad is very eager to resolve any individual concerns. You can contact us by phone at 01903 708300 in the UK or 1-888-830-3535 in the US or Canada; or by email at info@projects-abroad.org. Thanks for reading the “fine print” and happy posting!
